Superhuman — the coach who knows you

superhumanwellbeingcoachingartificial intelligence

What if you had a coach who could see how you slept last night, knew what workout is waiting today, and remembered what you promised yourself last week? One who doesn't hand out generic advice but speaks to your exact numbers?

That's what Superhuman is building. This is the opening post about a new project — and at the same time a glimpse into why it's more than just one more app.

Too many apps, too little clarity

For most of us, health is scattered. Sleep in one app, workouts in another, nutrition in a third, and goals on some sticky note. There's more data than ever, but **no more understanding at all.** The numbers don't tell you what you're supposed to do with them.

Superhuman starts from the opposite idea: one place that gathers the pieces together and turns them into clear, personal advice.

Everything in one view

Superhuman brings under one roof what is usually scattered:

  • Health — sleep, heart rate, recovery, and steps straight from your phone's health data.
  • Training — a smart program that adapts to how your body responds, on both the strength and running side.
  • Nutrition — a lightweight food journal that keeps up without fussy micromanaging.
  • Habits and goals — small daily actions and big directions in the same picture.

When everything is in one place, you start to see the connections: how a bad night shows up in your training, how recovery follows your rhythm, how small actions pile up into results.

A coach who actually knows you

The heart of Superhuman is the AI coach — but not the kind that parrots the internet's generic wisdom. It looks at your data and talks with you based on it.

What sets it apart from an ordinary chatbot is two things: the coach remembers earlier conversations and learns about you over time, and it justifies its advice — you can always see which numbers or workouts it's leaning on. So it doesn't just say "rest more," it tells you why, this exact week, in your exact case.

The result feels less like an app and more like a coach who has walked the journey with you.

Training that adapts to you

Most programs are built for the average person. Superhuman's training is built from your goals and updates according to how you actually feel and recover. After a good week it raises the bar; after a demanding stretch it gives you room.

The goal isn't to do as much as possible, but the right amount at the right time — so you make progress without running yourself into the ground.

Where this is headed

Superhuman is only getting started, and I'm building it in the open. In the next posts I'll say more about how the coach reasons, how the training program evolves from week to week, and what I've learned along the way.

The idea is simple: to make elite coaching into something that rides in your pocket and speaks your language. Welcome along on the journey toward the superhuman — one step at a time.
